What People Say

Most Liked

M & M Country Cafe has become a local favorite for several reasons. First, the comfort food is made with love, providing diners with a sense of home-cooked warmth. The coffee is top-notch, serving as the perfect companion to any meal. Many rave about the delicious breakfast options, particularly the deluxe breakfast and French toast, which aim to start your day on a sweet note. Then there are the lunch specials, like the fried chicken that’s noted for being moist and flavorful. Customers appreciate the casual setting which feels cozy and intimate. With very reasonable prices, this cafe allows you to enjoy generous portions without overspending, making it an ideal place for families and those looking for comfort food.

Most Disliked

While M & M Country Cafe offers a beloved dining experience, some patrons have shared a few downsides. The limited menu choices might not cater to everyone’s preferences—though the offerings are comforting, they may lack variety for adventurous diners. Another point of contention is the cash-only policy; many visitors find this inconvenient as they cannot use credit cards. Also, the busy hours can lead to longer wait times, especially during peak breakfast and lunch periods. Some customers have also pointed out that not every dish hits the mark—for instance, side items like potato salad have received mixed reviews. Overall, while these aspects may frustrate a few, they do not overshadow the cafe’s charm and consistent offerings.

Y'all are sleeping on this one! This place has some of the best food my bf and I have EVER had! The first meal I had here was the chicken and dressing with mashed potatoes and green beans. As you can see I completely CLEARED my plate! All their food is made with love and you taste that in every bite. The gravy is next level I felt like a Franks Red Hot commercial, I put that ish on EVERYTHING ! The next meal I had was the fried chicken, squash casserole, cabbage, and watermelon DELICIOUS 😋 Home cooking at its finest! The service is great, we've had the same server both times. They have breakfast, lunch, and a daily meat and 2/3 special. We met the owner she is precious and the cafe itself is decorated in you guessed it, M&Ms. They are even incorporated in the menu. This place is the best hidden gem we have discovered since I moved here in 2018. Delicious, homemade, good eats at an affordable price! I will rave about this place FOREVER! GOOOOOO!

It's a home cooking meal without having to cook it yourself. Great country feel.

My sister, nephew, and I were looking for a nice mom and pop-esque restaurant for breakfast and found this little country cafe. I had the deluxe breakfast everything was cooked perfectly and served fast. You can tell they take pride in the food they serve. My nephew had the French toast and an egg sandwich which he devoured. My sister had the fried chicken and potato salad she loved the friend chicken. She wasn't impressed with the potato salad but she is a bit of a potato salad snob. I would highly recommend if you are looking for something that isn't the typical fast food restaurant.

This past Monday on Labor Day, we were looking for a spot to eat. Someplace I would call a true hole-in-the-wall. A friend of mine, who was born and raised here, recommended this little restaurant. From the outside it does not look like much, but inside you find a cozy place with no more than ten tables and service as genuine as the people in this community. Our waitress was warm and helpful, offering several recommendations. I went with the Philly cheesesteak based on her suggestion, while my colleague ordered the salmon. Both were excellent, and I have to say the coleslaw is absolutely to die for. Even better, our meals were ready in under ten minutes. The prices are more than affordable, and the entire experience felt authentically local. I’m grateful for the recommendation and would highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting the area.

A small mom and pop place. Good comfort food. Cozy place to eat. My husband and I had breakfast around 11, mom had lunch. Service was quick and friendly. Good was delicious. Very nice place to have a quick bite. Feels like stopping by Mom's for a quick bite😊 FYI : Does not accept Credit cards. Cash or Check Only.

Not only was the food very tasty, we got to share our breakfast with a local WWII vet on his 101st birthday. Definitely the place to go for a hometown dining experience at a great price.
